About Us
The American Association for Technology in Psychiatry
(formerly, the Psychiatric Society for Informatics),
a nonprofit membership organization of physicians and
mental health professionals, is dedicated to the development
and use of information technology to improve the quality
and availability of psychiatric and mental health care.
AATP aspires to be our members' primary forum for association,
for accessing colleagues who share interests and ambitions,
and for communicating our work and vision.

Collaboration
Associations are about collaboration. Sharing
ideas and inspiring others to new directions comes about
through a professional and social network of individuals
from many diverse areas in psychiatry and mental health.
AATP offers many opportunities for sharing ideas and
collaborating with creative faculty.
Education and Research
Most of our members are active in academic involvement
and are especially interested in ways that technology
affects the educational process. Research is an important
factor in advancing the field and our members are involved
